Hello everyone,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as Luke Evans, one of the founders of Classic Zambia Safaris. Born in Monze, Zambia in 1982, I grew up as a true bush boy, living in the Kafue, South Luangwa, and Lower Zambezi National Parks, thanks to my parents, Mark and Virginia Evans, who were safari operators.

Having been educated in Kenya and Europe, I am proud to be trilingual, fluent in Chi Nyanja, English, and German. Throughout my career, I have worked with several renowned safari companies such as Robin Pope Safaris, Norman Carr Safaris, Susage Tree Camp Lower Zambezi, Sanctuary Retreats, among others, in various roles.

Moreover, I have also founded an Africa specialist tour operator in Austria, further enhancing my understanding of the industry and enabling me to share my expertise with others.
